The Elusive Phenomenon of Churches without God (The Economist) 16 May 2018
Justification
I decided to read this article (from The Economist, as it is my goal) mainly because it was the only positive news I could find. I also found the topic interesting, because both the topic of religion and communities are sort of the talk of the day. And as always with the Economist, there is a promise of interesting new vocabulary.
Reflection
I found the article very interesting and quite easy to understand (taking into account the standard of the magazine), but as always, there was a number of words I do not use as often as I could.
The list of word to revise and use actively:
exhausted (the topic)
(religious) congregation
ethos
a niche
pious
affiliation
surging
devout
disperse
