Jane Eyre (Ch. Bronte) 10 April 2018
Justification
I decided to reread the book for two reasons. The first was a school assignment for the course dealing with British literature and the second was my hunger for the "true" story. I have recently seen four movie/TV series adaptations of the work as well as a TV series "prequel" to the book and became so confused (as all of them told a bit different story) that I wanted to find out what the original story was like. I had the omnipresent reason to improve my English of course as well.
Reflection
Reading the book was mostly very pleasant and much easier than what I remember from before. It might be because it was already the second time I read it and also my knowledge of the main plot. There were passages that I found a bit challenging (mostly due to archaic English), but I found the book to be much more "readable" than for example the work of Jane Austen or The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I feel now much more ready to read the Wuthering Heights by the other Bronte - a story have not read before.
