Justification
An excuse for binge-watching? Yes... But not only. I was told by many knowledgeable people that this TV series is definitely worth seeing - both from the language and the historical point of view.
Reflection
I will not talk about the story, but Scottish English wise, it was most helpful. I am positive that I will now be able to distinguish it anytime (perhaps even speak it a little) and at least partly understand when it is spoken. I had to watch it with English subtitles (thank God for them on Netflix) as it was often very helpful to see the spelling. Once, I was googling "parrige" for about 10 minutes before I realised that it was just porridge. Overall, it was a very pleasant way to study. I must do it more often.
